Challenges we’ll address:

  • Transferring data to ERP is tedious & time consuming

  • Incomplete or incorrect BOM leads to errors

  • Unsure how to change or update processes

Session Outcomes:

  • Reduce manual processes and eliminate errors

  • Reduce time to create & update the BOM, increase BOM accuracy up to 100%

  • Increase productivity & process quality

Connecting Product Data Management (Vault) with purchase (ERP) is a necessary step. But without a direct integration, manually entering data into the ERP is time-consuming and tedious and can lead to errors and incorrect data.

This session will show you how Autodesk Vault and ERP can be connected in a direct way, so tedious, manual processes are eliminated, and data is accurate. Through integrated workflow demonstrations, you’ll learn how to bi-directionally bring data into Vault and Inventor, synchronize items and BOMS, and ensure data integrity.

You’ll also learn how to fully customize your integration to meet your specific business requirements. At the end of the session, you’ll hear from Brian Dean, Mechanical Engineering Manager at Opex Corporation, as he shares his experience customizing and integrating Vault and ERP, and the ways his engineering and business processes have improved since the integration.
